Luis Diaz has worked as an illustrator and graphic artist for television, print, video game and other interactive media for over 10 years.
Diaz also created over 40 paintings for the new Garbage Pail Kids and Wacky Packages. He was named one of "Six Artist You Need To Know" by CITY LINK Magazine. His work has also been seen in Corel Painter Magazine, BLUECANVAS, ImagineFX, Exposé (Ballistics Publishing) and twice in Spectrum: The Best of Fantastic Art Annuals.
"A professor in college once told me while critiquing my artwork, ‘You make people feel sane.’ From that moment, I learned the power that art can have on its audience,” says Diaz. Diaz is currently working on narrative art and developing his Creatura series of paintings. Diaz is a graduate from The Maryland Institute, College of Art (MICA). Diaz shares his studio with artist Liza Sylvestre.
